hello! Pictures, and we have been on a dogshow.. =)

We have been on a show and the beauty babies are doing good.. =)
The first day the jugde was a man from israel, called Zeev Trainin, and Bono was second best male, he got CK, and this critick: "well balanced dog, with black and white coat, nice head, scissor bite, perfect topline, well developed chest, lack of angulation in front, good angulation in hind legs, very nice gait"
Chara was third best bitch in puppy class, of three.. She injured one of her paws on the morning, so she limped a bit, than.. On the first day, she was going almost normally, but still..
I was thinking about pulling her, but I had payed for it, we was there, and puppie shows her in Norway is not officially, so I ask the jugde to give me a criticism,based on her anatomy. (=
Her critick was like this: "typical young puppy, well boned, scissor bite, good topline, nice gait, very nice behavior" *Very promising* (He wrote it on the critick..) =) (=
The next day she got this critick (jugde Leni Finne, from Finland) : "correct porpotions and bone, correct head shape and wrinkels, somthing wide placed, but well carried ears, correct neck and topline, slightly steep upperarm, soft of hands, correct chest, adequate angels behind, abit low tailset, limps on a front paw"
Bono got his first BOS Leni Finne, he has now been shown 16 times, he has 8 BOB and one BOS. (=
This is his critick: "correct porpotions and bone, correct headshape, enough wrinkels, a bit to much cheek, wellplaced and carried ears, correct forechest, some steep upperarm, sufficient angels behind, correct tail, adequate shelf, correct step length, slightly broad front"

Just wanted to post a picture of my girl, standing..

news, we have been on a dogshow and Chara is three months old. =)

Bono was doing a great job in the showring, as allways. (=
He is just king!

We got it all, this time also.. =) I've been really lucky with this boy, and hope to be with little Chara also. They are just adorable.

The writer was a young norwegian girl and she didn't understand what the jugde said, so I asked this Margaret after she was done for the day, and she was supriesed, just, "I didn't say that", but, according to her, it goes something like this: "black and white male, two and a half years old, excellent top, flat scull, scissor bite, correct ears, good length of neck, really good body propotions, good angulations in front, medium bone, small feets, correct tail set, good reach of hind quater, behaind tail, moves "brishu"(?) and soundly."

Bono woke me in the middle of the night, (this was the night after the exhibition,) my little hunting dog had found food for us.

Chara is three months today, and I'm going to try and stack her on a table to get some pictures, but I need help, it's to difficult for me to take pictures of her, standing, myself..

But, today I'm may be getting some help with it. (=

hello!!

long time, or, not really, but, I was going to write every week, so, long time..
I killed my computer... (I'm really good, I never learn, but it seems like the computers don't like to be thrown in the wall..)
But, now!

Today (27.02.10) is Bono two and a half years old, nearly a birthday, and tomorrow Chara will be two months old. (=

I was on Gardemoen, an airport not too long from Oslo, and picked up the little baby girl. She's just adorable. <3

Just wanted to post some pictures now, and maybe write a bit more tomorrow.

Today I’ve got Bono’s health results!

Both his parents tested probably clear for Fanconi, so he is probably clear, too.

On the hips the result was grade A, or excellent, if you will. =)

And the result was all clear on the eyes, he was tested 28.01.10.

I still has left to test his TgAA , but everyone in his family is normal, so I’m not afraid for that one.

I’m just a little bit hysterical, but I’m starting to get a better, I’m not calling the vet so often anymore, so I’m getting a little healthier with this.

Looking really forward to get a puppy now!
Have already shopped some things to the baby girl.

He became the fourth most winning Basenji last year. My beloved little guy. (=

I find this combination exciting, believe it will be very nice showdogs, with a charming personality. I’m in love with this crazy, adorable dogs.. Zina and Echo match each other well, in every way..
I strongly believe in this combination. =)

All the puppies look good, with expectable angels, nice drawings and a really lovely expression.
I’m sure they will be excellent movers. (=

Henriette has sent in proves for fanconi on all the puppies, so we will soon know the results. Their mother is in between carrier and clear, and their dad is clear, so they could be caring the gen, but they can’t get sick, or things.
If Chara is carrier, it’s the only thing, when we’re going to find the perfect male for her, that he has to be clear for fanconi. So, we get possibly a bit fewer to choose between.

Bono is the best now! He shows himself very well at the trainings, stands as a god on the table and is just adorable.
He knows he’s the best looking guy in the world. =)

Have managed to keep quiet for a long time now, and this has, in a way, been a secret.

I'm going to get a beauty little bitch from Bushongo, and Henriette Arneberg. (=

The little princess are named Bushongo Bulldobas Chara Alula, after a star picture(?), of the gazelle's leap.

Her daily name will be just Chara, and she's going to be just as spoiled as my baby boy. (=

Some day she hopefully will get Bushongo's puppies. That's at least the plan... =)

She's going to be a superb mover, with nice angels, right propotions and a lovely head/expression. That's my plan.. c(=

But, she is just four weeks, so I really can't say that much yet, but she has really nice drawings, then.

The parents are just dilicious, so I think she will be great!

Both of them have done it really well in the show ring. Really nice, cute dogs.

The dad is N uch Bulldobas Echo Of Kenya, just Echo, at home, and own by Bono's breeder, Liv Irene Nyfløt.

The mother is Bulldobas Glory Days, or Zina at home. She was the Norwegian winner 2007, and is the cutest bitch I have met in a long time. Bono really liked her!

(But, Bono likes all the female he meets, so his opinion counts not really..)

Soon I will get her home. =)

Well, thing slook really good, I look forward to entering more shows, are going to a international show in the end of march with Bono, and will start to show Chara as puppy, in may.

And Bono will be showed in Scandinavia this year, try to get some more titles.

I really look forward to this, and, from today, I will try to update this blog once a week or something. =)

I have for a time, tought about creating a blog, but somehow I never started.

But, I'm starting now..

I will just post some pictures today and the criticisms we have received at dogshows, so far.

And, by the way...

Maybe I should present us?

I'm a girl living in north Norway, with my beauty Basenji boy, Kingwanas Epic Walkabout.

And, next year, I'm going to get a little bitch too.. More about this, later... It was the show results, right?

I will write the date, name of the jugde, his age and the criticism.

First time he showed his paws in the ring, he was 13 months, 18.10.08, jugde was Miroslav Zidar.

"Middle strong. Compact. Good pigment. Perfect head. Good topline. Correct tail. Enough wrinkels. Good develvoped chest. Something longer legs. Correct front. Good Movements. Correct teeth" This resulted in CK, and he ended up as second best male.

The next day, 19.10.08, he was jugde by Niels Brandstrup.

"Elegant male who moves easiely and nice, good topline. could had more forechest."

He was best junior, with HP.

19months, 19.04.09, jugde was Göran Bodegaard.

"Wel filled, Nice, masculine dog. Excellent head, good substance, mucels and bone structur. Excellent mover. Very nice bones, feet and tail. Excellent coat quality."

This was his thired time in the ring, I was really scared, and fucked up in the head. Still, he was best male, and BOB, with CC and CACIB!!

And, finally, the Basenji specialty.

21 months, 30.05.09, jugde was Ben Reynholst Frost.

"Nice head and expression. Good dark eyes, well shaped. Good reach of neck. Correct shoulder and front, good spring of rib. Correct topline. Excellent tailset. Wel muscled. Hind quaters moving something close behind. Good stride and front."

Won the Open male class, with CK, and was number two, competition for best head.

Still 21 months, 13.06.09, jugde was Normann Deschuymere.

"Scissor bite. Nice head and expression. Brown eyes, good earset. Very good neck. Good bite. Very good tail. Good chest/forechest. Good angulation.

Good coat. Very good movements."

Here, again, best male, with CC and BOB. And, his first group placement! BIG4!

Next day, 14.06.09, Dominic Harris.

"Nice head and expression. Good, dark eyes. Well placed ears. Good neck and shoulders. Nice topline. Moving wel behind."

And, one more, best male with CC and BOB.

Nearly two years old, 22.08.09, jugde by Leif Lehmann Jørgensen.

"Two years, welshaped, masculin male. Good earset. Could had darker eyes. Nice wrinkels for this black coat. Excellent teeth. Very good neck. A little soft topline. Excellent tail. Appropriate body for the age. Very good bone structure and paws. Moves parallel behind, could have been firmer in the front. Good color of coat, excellent behavior."

And, once again, best male, CC, and BOB.

(I've got too much, right in my hands, actually, and have the world's beutiest dog, ever. Huge thanks to Helen and Liv, who made this succsessful combination!!)

23.08.09, Janiki Steinbock. Still nearly two years old.

"Correct built. Nice head and expression. Well carried ears and tail. Very good neck, topline, ribcage, angulation and tail."

And, again, BOB, with CC.

29.08.09, two years and two days old. Jean-Jacques Dupas.

"Masculine. Very good head. Dark eyes. Very good neck. Good angulations. Very good tail. Good topline. Body is a little long. Very good movement."

This was a straight red, so, the first time he needed CC, he was going right out. A little annoying, but allright.

30.08.09, two years and three days old, jugde Michael Forte.

(This day, I was really impressed of the jugde, who saw my dog. He was not a dog. Not at all.. It was standing a bauty bitch in the middle of her season, outside the ring, and he was not going to gait, not stand, nothing. He was going to make puppies, nothing else..)

But anyway..

"Nice headed male with really nice earset, good neck and nice front. Good depth of chest. Very good topline.

Presented and handled well."

CK, second best male, with CC, and a new Norwegian CHAMPION!! (=

Next show was 05.09.09, under jugde Saija Juutilainen, his first time in champion class, two years old.

"Two years, stylish male with excellent rising and angulation. masculin head. Well placed, but somthing bigger ears. Good bite, muzzle, a little loose lips. Excellent neck. Very good tail. Fine, broud thighs, paws. Excellent temprament. Nice, easy move."

And, ones again BOB, and this time also BIG2!! My boy is beeing noticed, among all the big heary beasts!! (=

Next show was 24.10.09, he was nearly two years and two months old. Jugde was Ove Germundsson.

"Two yers old male. Correct model, lovely head and expression. Excellent neck, topline and tail. Right proportions. Excellent bones and paws. excellent angulation and movements, excellent type overall."

He was best male, with CK, got BOB, and than BIG1!!

My male is the best one... <3

This was a really boost.. (=

And, the BIS jugde was this Jean-Jacques Dupas. It was really cool, just..

"We meets again.. Notice.. My boy became BIG today.."

Two yers and two months, 25.10.09. Jugde was Harald Aune.

"Champion male, who is truly whorty his title. Showed in excellent condition."
